Light, spacious and beautifully set up for cruising life, Mā Tori is a Gary Lidgard–designed Fusion 40 — one of a respected line of around sixty owner-completed performance cruising catamarans. Resin-infused foam-sandwich topsides over solid glass below the waterline give her strength without weight; the 2022 refit gave her another twenty years of life. She sails easily shorthanded, anchors where others can't, and generates all her own power and water.
Search any used catamaran for sale listing from Auckland to Suva and a pattern emerges: the ready boats are expensive and the affordable boats aren't ready. She is cruising Fiji until October and can be viewed there by arrangement — a rare chance to see a bluewater catamaran doing exactly what she was built for — and quite possibly the only owner-refitted catamaran for sale, Fiji-side, this season. Her home port is Kerikeri, Northland, New Zealand.
Can she be delivered?
